pathos 82 - great gun?

There are 2 versions with open muzzle.

The alluminium version with the full rail, and the carbon version with the round tube

i preferred the allum version as i think the reinforced allum tube would be enough to hold 2x16mm bands

Although it is a nice gun, for band guns i would always go with an abellan

This gun is a Effesub speargun or? Its look like the new pathos but it is not the original.

I wonder if in one 100 open Pathos we can put 3 16mm gorilla bands?

They have the old Pathos.. New Pathos not mentioned in the online shop.

Shane, I've got Open Pro (alu) 120cm with 2x20mm Dunlop bands. They are stretched to 330% when loaded. The tube holds it without flexing! Although recoil is way, way too strong. Unfortunately, those were the only bands I could get at that moment.

A bit more than nothing :-) Mostly, I used only one band with 7mm shaft because of the recoil. My season was from 15.7. till 12.9. and that is not a good time for north Adriatic sea (Istria). The plan for next year is buying 17mm bands and 6.5mm shaft.

Hi Alex

I would use no more than twin 16mm and a 7 spear on that gun

A lot opf HUGE fish have been caught on Rob Allens and Rabitechs with that setup.

The recoil you will get using more power will be counterproductive and will cause the spear to go slower and be less accurate
