well let's consider this 1st why do you think you are missing the shots? Is it poor aiming on your side or do you think the gun has problems? You're power set up seems normally fine how long is your band? I don't think the trigger mech has anything to do with your shots my friend is the loading fine on your gun?
1- I don't think you need to use 2x16mm bands for such a small gun. 2- Either 18mm or 19mm would do just fine, use this for best results 19mm band x 58cm in length. 3- Work on your aiming you may be shooting from a diff angle that in reality your shots may not be as accurate as you think. I am not 100% on there compatibly. You should go to a store with your shaft and check that out your self for better results. Does the shaft lock on the trigger mech? or does it come out? look if you can load the bands on the gun with out any problems like accidental misfires etc then I don't see the problem other wise get the correct shaft for your gun. GL I hope this helps!

I've got a Sparid 1300 and absolutely love the hell out of it. It's always my fault when a fish gets away from me, not the guns. It put a spear completely through a 21 kg Sampson Fish with just the one stock rubber. Just make sure you rinse the vecta actions out well with fresh water or the safety switch tends to stick a bit, luckily it seems to stick in the 'off' position. So the fish aren't safe.

Must be great to get fish that size.

BTW You could try pushing down on the safety while pushing/pulling to ease it over the "teeth" [see above thread for images]. My safety catch was locked in the off position for more than a year, best situation really (missed 2 fish when safety was on, first was first day ever spearing & second was first fish of the new season a year or two ago -- must have fiddled with the safety over the winter & left it on Last edited by Mr. X; May 26th, 2008 at 07:29. |

Try Florida Freedivers. They list complete handles and cassettes in their catalog. They are the importer to the US, and very easy to deal with.

Yeah I'm with Pastor on this one. I think the gun would be more accurate with a single rubber.
