300$ is a decent budget, most guns would be under that in the base case..i would say either get the seatec, or the cayman HF or wait for the cayman HF2 next month, the new mares also looks promising...i dont have any feedback on the new cressi's so cant tell..but since youre in italy probably better to stick to the italian brands...

if ur looking to upgrade, band? mamba? i have both the mamba 110 and marlin carbone 950 and both r pretty sweet.. prefer the mamba for now.. but have only used the mc950 twice till now straight out of the box, have to change the wishbone to dyneema or the metal bangs up the carbon.. both nice and around 300 i think.. i like the darkside..

HF2 and HF2 L.E. are exactly the same gun except for the brown camo: I wonder who would pay the extra > 250 euro for a layer of brown paint... (Marwan...just DON'T DO IT!!! )http://www.nauticamancini.com/sub/su...cayman_hf2.htm http://www.nauticamancini.com/sub/su...man_hf2_le.htm

200€ for brown paint
I think the L.E. is loonies Euros Why not paint them red? Fish see red as brown I believe and it's easier to find a dropped gun. All the fashionable spearos who are super cool have red guns

dont worry spago i wont do it, i dont like camo anyway...but are you sure thats the only difference?? it doesnt seem to make any sense..its borderline stupid actually. if you are a camo fanatic, you could buy camo tape for 20$ if you change it up to 10 times. its still cheaper..i wouldnt think omer would make such a silly marketing mistake..surely there should be something else..

if you are just going to shoot around jetties i wouldn't bother getting a bigger gun. your 90cm will take care of that. if you are going to hunt reefs or dive out of boats with viz greater than 20 ft, i'd look at something around 120cm. i spearfish in florida and use rob allen and aimrite guns. both are based off a eurogun design but have an integral rail to allow for better range and accuracy, and less barrel flex and shaft whip.
checkout florida freedivers, they carry both. aimrite is coming out with a new "venom" model soon which looks pretty cool. it will shoot the rob allen shafts which are a hard spring steel and have a tricut tip for better penetration. Florida Freedivers - Spearfishing & Freediving Gear |

They sell at the local surf shop for £240 (the retail price obviously), I don't make many in a year and only in the summer. Can do one trade for you if you want one.
