It took me months to make a decision on buying a 90cm bandgun for bass and mullett.
The candidates I took in consideration were: Omer XXV Gold 90 (160 euro w. reel) Seatec Gabbiano Elite Open 90 (150 euro w/o reel) Cayman Hf2 90 (140 euro w/o. reel) Cayman HF 95 (180 euro w. reel) Cressi Geronimo Pro 95 (160 euro w/o reel) C4 Monoscocca 90 (330 euro w.0 reel) C4 Mr. Carbon 94 (520 euro w/o reel) Mares Phantom carbon 95 (140 euro w/o reel) Mares Phantom fiberglass 95 (110 euro w.o. reel) Totem Guizzo 90 (290 euro w. reel) ^^^^^^^^^ And I finally said: SCREW IT! I'm getting a GUACO!!! (70 euro). And I did it!

Quote:
GUACO!!! ![]() .. .. ..yes Pasty it's a 90. Classic french style arbalete, with Gabbiano handle, Marc Valentin style metal line release, 28mm allu tube, no rail, parallel screw in bands, closed muzzle (wich I will cut to make an open muzzle of it, which I'm prepared to bleed a lot for. Last time I did a DIY job like that I nearly lost a finger. But it's not just me: when I was younger I volunteered for over 1.800 hours for the ambulance service in a big city, and you can't make an idea of how many people get serious injuries with DIY and hobbies ).... Now, back to Guaco (...GUACO!!!! ) click on red square and move cursor:Documento senza titolo

congrats spaggo!!..
i see you decided to drop all the fancy modern options and went back to basics, realizing that in a 90cm gun they probably make very little difference so what does Gauco mean?

Well finally, I must confess, after all that enthusiasm (Guaco! ha ha ha) I didn't make the deal due to a misunderstanding with the seller. But the gun is good, no doubt, and everything has been said in this thread is right.
Then if the question is: "Spaghetti, are you still looking for a 90 to buy?", the answer is yes. No hurry, because unlike the majority of mediterranean spearos, I rarely use the 90: the last one I had went sold to Podge and it was still like new after one year. It was a great gun (Omer T20) but I rarely use the 90. I hope that Podge is using it and enjoying. ... ...Now I saw a XXV Gold 90 for sale on an italian forum, used but in MINT conditions, with reel and anatomic grip, not a single scratch, for 110 euro....and I'm also bargaining for a 90cm Aimirite hawaiaan railgun for some 130 euro... meanwhile my Gabby 77, Master 106 and Medisten 70 are actually catching fish for my table...
