Re: My 2 cents on the HF110

on the sound issue guys i had the same issue so i used a little bit of candle wax rubbed on the rail it seemed to work so i then invested in some quility wax the same used for snow skies and snow boards i pesonaly have noticed a decrease in shaft noise and a increase in shaft speed. so go figure the good wax in australia only cost me 10 dollars so pretty cheap.i have also given it a go on my ra and the benifits are there also. jordan

I've actually tought about something like that, since my gun is in Brazil and I am in Alaska, my idea was to use eletric tape. But your idea is better, I will take some ski wax to Brazil if I am going down there this year. I may replace the muzzle with the HH one just like Ildiver did, since I had some issues with the tangling when double wrapping.

Re: My 2 cents on the HF110

I've put my stock muzzle back on and put mono on it. To be honest I didn't notice much difference in the two muzzles. The OMER muzzle with adjustable weight seems to be more balanced. I may put the H.H. back in, but for now, I like the look better and I did not see a lot of benefit. The hollow aluminum with the shaft scrape I think is the main source.

I was having a little trouble with double wrapping on the OMER, but I was wrapping on the same post that the line comes off of to go back to the line release. When I put the OMER muzzle back on I finally noticed the notch across the front of the muzzle. (I'm dumb) Then I figured out I was twisting the line the wrong direction to put the second wrap on the line release. I was pretty much setting it up for a knot.

I'll have to get over and buy some ski wax this week and give that a go. With the "rough" texture the barrel has, it should hold fairly well. A little hot air and smoothing...

That is exactly what I was doing, I just realized on my last week in January, but I still think having that nice long HH hook under the muzzle would speed the loading process. I was actually thinking about making one and adding to my omer muzzle.

I would also haev mixed fealings about replacing the muzzle, since balistic that gun is very good (in my opinion), but I am still considering trying the HH muzzle.
