Freedivers in Washigton DC

Dear freediving friends,

I am about to move to the US from Italy, and I was wandering if there was any freediving group / club in the Washington DC area.

I would love to train with them and even freedive in the ocean (is it possible at all?).

Mark Laboccetta (Vice President, OMERSUB USA) lives in Virginia Beach about 2 hours away from DC. He's Italian also. Here's his email (omerus@mindspring.com). My best friend from high school lives in Northern Virginia about 20 minutes south of DC. Here's his email (pjohnson@scitor.com). Both guys are freedive spearfishermen and are pretty decent divers. I believe Mark is capable of hunting 100'+ and my buddy Pat's good down to around 90'. If you contact them, tell 'em I sent you.
