Looking for spots in greece

Hi folks, my buddies and i are planning a freediving holiday in greece, in september. We'd love to find an island, not too crowded, not too many tourists, not too expensive, preferably with rocky shores and underwater droppoffs. Most important: visibility!!!
So...err,.. yeah, thats basically it, we'd love to have a vis of 40m or more! Would be very nice to have cheap accomodation possibilities (we're not luxury guys, we're looking for really nice places, where we can stay and train for 3weeks without having to sell our organs.
First on our list is the sea, followed by nature/landscape (we're biologists), then culture.

Hope you guys can help with some info

Salut

Re: Looking for spots in greece

try "Telendos"..you'll get there by boat from Kos ( wich has an airport ) and Kalymnos ( known for the spongedivers )....it will be you and about 50 Greek people and probably no more tourtists than you and your friends..very small island, easy to get to, but still very few people know about it..

..just "google" telendos and you'll get more info...

Re: Looking for spots in greece

Well 40m is a BIG number even for the Aegean waters-anyway im sure you'll find 10-20 in a lot of places around the islands.
One of my personal favorites is Kythira.
Its small, cheap, not crowded, very close to mainland with crystal clear waters.
Hope i've helped.
