Here is this evenings catch.
I could have continued but called it a day at five. With the first shot i managed to catch the 2 dentex The fish just kept getting bigger and the airgun i was using did not give them a chance. Only one nearly got away as you can see by hte gash in its stomach. Enjoy...................

Hey Brandon,
There is a lot of myticism surrounding this fish and they are considered as one of the most intelligent fish in the med. They have highly developed senses and where the water is very clear they are a nightmare to catch. They have also been the cause for many a SWB. They tend to hang about just out of range and a bigger one always lurks in the background. In this instance i think it was being at the right place at the right time as i have never seen dentex this aggressive. They were on the hunt in green water and any movement would attract the school right in. My apneas were between 1 and 2 minutes for all the catches. Dentex can suprise you by sprinting in as you touch bottom or they might not appear until you are about to leave the botttom for the surface. All in all a difficult fish to catch
