Shaneshac is back

Check out what i caught this morning.

This Dentex gibbosus weighed in at 16 kilos. It was hunting in the current. Unluckily for the fish so was I.

The fish was cuaght doing aspetto at a depth of 17m.

Ok......that is a one bloody "on steroids" specimen for this species!!!!

HUGE!!!!

Specimens larger that 60cm are considered to be exceptionally large...
This one is a monster!!!

Looked it up on fishbase.org and it's what Shane says:

Says maximun weight recorded is 15 kg, Shane, you might want to email them with the pic and the weight.
