Puerto Rico's Blue Water Hunter

I love this shot. I tried to convince Omer to use it for their new catalog cover but I think the marlin thing is always controversial so....Either way here's Roberto with a big Black Marlin he speared somewhere off the Pacific Coast. Roberto if you read this send the accompanying picture of the 270lb yellowfin too as I can't find it.

Controversial ! Fishing is for killing fish, eating fish. Anything else is hypocressy !

This must be a Marlin-Ski. Congragulations for this great fish. You may also share your pics in our forum in Turkey. With this photo you will be place in Hall of Fame section I think.

Who are you to say anything if you wern't there. I beleive every bit of it got eaten.
What is controversial is to open your mouth without knowing the story first.

Eric ! Hey , whats your problem man? Mi words were in favor of what Mark did; sending the fotos to Omer for use in the catalog. The thing is there should be no controversies about a fisherman taking a fish !. If anyone wants to free a live fish ,thats fine, but they should respect the fisherman that doesn,t. As long as it is within the law. Rod And Reel fisherman like to free marlin and create controversies. They should respect our rigth to spear them.

Elvin, Sorry about. I misunderstood your post. I agree with what you said in your second post. They have the right to do as they please and so should we as long as we are within the laws.

Eric
