Hey I was wondering if they are any places to do some shore diving and spearing around Clearwater Florida?

I know there are two long stips of coastline from Clearwater south to Madeira Beach or maybe Redington that are mitigation areas. They are suppose to be 300' or so from shore where they have dumped piles of concrete or boulders of somekind. There was a map just recently in the St. Petersburg Times and maybe you can archieve it. Perhaps one of the tackle stores or fishing piers on the beaches would have a circular too. I have never dove them though them cause I have a boat and usually go out to cleaner water. What is your experience level.

Intermediate. I'm probly going to bring my zodiac but I won't be able to push to far out from shore. I found a couple good places on Dive-Spots.com that have some good man made reefs that look promising in my depth range.

hey. i am new to the spearfishing game ..... i hunt and fish but haven't gotten to spearfishing yet! i have 2 spearguns and i am looking for someone to go with so they can show me the ropes and/or start with me! i am 17 years old and my dad has a boat but he doesn't let me go spearfishing yet off his boat cuase he's crazy! please let me know if there are any places in/near palm harbor fl!
