Red Grouper, hmmm no not that don't see much of them in Miami...but it could be added in though...actually its the humble Bug...langosta, the other was the SOBE scallop...stingray

Another point that has come up is if we do this as a "fish of the Month" we'd be about 2 years competingso what I say we do is just pick a certain # of fish ( to be fish of the month) and then decide whether to compete BiWeekly, Monthly w.e. ...any suggestions?

what can i say boys i wish i was in florida ..Tone good effort there this looks very promissing..if you allow me to give my views (please feel free to discard them, i dont want to intrude in any way):
1 - maybe promote safety on this comp and keep it in pairs as a mandate
2 - make a target for the day (say 80 Lbs of mahi mahi) first team who gets in wins..then the next time change the species, that you way you get to be selectve and also learn different techniques for different fish..if nobody gets the target, the next day stakes double and so on..

you could also plan it in a way that the target is challenging enough that you dont waste the day as somebody suggested

Hey man that was harsH!... to be honest I would not like to own a mr.carbon but I do admire their design and beauty . I like the new C4 gun "Erection" but, I can't imagine the price tag on that. I'm highly considering the new Mares Phantom Carbon I hope to hear good things about the gun in the fallowing months.

last time i was in miami was in 2002 as part of my honeymoon (south beach in spring break, biiiiiiig mistake for a newly married man)), being from egypt i guess entitled me to be always "randomly" picked for screening, held in immigrations etc.... not too excited to go through that again soon

armando, those mares guns look cool, good luck with that, c4's are very nice but like many people said, any gun will take fish, its just extra fancy, and has added properties that you might not even need in miami, bear inmind euro guns are generally made wit the euro/med spcies in mind, if i were you id stick with rob allens and rabitechs, they are the business, if you want to save up for a fancy gun ge a wong hybrid, more relevant to your waters...

110 pounds!??..... Im 6ft 185lbs ... most hott chicks weigh 110, as long as they are around 5ft tall

Check out^^^^Mr TiroTeo...with the itchy finger....if its a "lets just do this" then we can all hook up and just do a mini warm-up compo, between us gentle for a small wager...kinda pot luck winner takes all....this other competition I'm not vibing "homegrown" so to speak, its gonna be more formal...flyers, shirts, sponsor prizes, $$$ the whole enchilada....its going to be part of DB so I'm hoping to get our community as well as Floridians involved thats the reason why I'm rolling with it on the slow'mo
