Re: at last cammera & housing

Hi Eyal

Not sure if you celebrate Christmas but we do and my new Casio 10 mp Z1000 is sitting wrapped under the tree ready to be opened in 2 days. The case isn't due to arrive for a few more days but when it does then both you and I will join the digital age. Looking forward to seeing some of your pictures.

Dave

Cool Re: at last cammera & housing

I have an older Fuji FinePix A210. Does anyone know if they make an underwater housing for it? Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to look for one?

Thanks,

Gene

Re: at last cammera & housing

Has anyone tried the "bag type" camera housing? A "hard" housing is not available for my camera.

Re: at last cammera & housing

Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa has finally delivered my new casio 40 metre case to house my new Casio Z1000 10.2 MP camera. If it works even one tenth as well as it looks then it'll be the reindeers cahooners.

Re: at last cammera & housing

Dave,

The Casios I've used were sweet. Very fast and good in low light. The first part of my site up to where it says 'new camera' under the picture of a walleye eye - was all taken with an exz57. If the 1000 works near as well you'll be in great shape - and it should be considerably better with it's larger ccd.

Re: at last cammera & housing

I think Santa got the wrong chimney Dave .... so I'll be round at some point to get a few thumb prints on the shiny case Looks good - any time you feel like going out and trying it (if you need a gun/camera caddy) let me know - maybe not this week as the surf is up - went to Icart and couldn't walk along the cliff the wind was so strong !

Re: at last cammera & housing

Now I got some gear :

Anyone got any advice on 1). simple video editing (programmes) and 2). on-line storage for private and/or shared viewing? Both must be cheap (preferably free) and be idiot friendly.

Have some on-line storage for stills but the site doesn't accept video.

Thanks

Dave

Re: at last cammera & housing

Windows movie maker is free and supplied with all PCs. It does a fair job of basic editing.
