is this a good camera to start with? it has simple controls so it seems to be just like my other cameras. I dont want to do digital. Does anyone know what a good one is worth?

It's a great camera, I have one. It's not made anymore so you have to look in second hand shops or Ebay. I think mine cost around 275 there plus 20% customs in my case. Still cheaper than buying here in Spain from a local photoshop.
