I'm not sure about our logistics when it came to logging national records during the champs.
Can people in this thread please reannounce the national records set during the competition? I'm sure we have many of them, but just for confirmation. Chris Engelbrecht, comp judge

That xls must be vastly incomplete. At one of the captains meetings a few days into the competition we had a quick hand raise on which countries had seen new national records so far. I think about half the captains present raised their hand.

Canada
William Winram - 174m dynamic William Winram - 84 m constant Mandy Cruickshank - 129m dynamic However, my understanding is that CAFA needs to see video tapes of all three national records and judge them on CAFA's stricter protocols. CAFA has retained the "samba" DQ protocol. Not sure if that's still in effect or not. Pete

It is on the seperate sheet 'World Records'. A technical problem here is that it also lists his 9'04" as world record. Not done during the competition itself, but afterwards in a seperate record attempt. But I supose that doesn't matter to the organizer.

It's right as danny says, but here's the complete list for Norway.
Female: Elisabeth Kristoffersen, STA 6.15, DYN 154m, CWT 55m, all new national records Male: Thomas Grindevoll, DYN 135m, CWT 72m, both new national records I think some of them were on the result list, but not all. Thanks for the good job you're doing Christian!

Australia had a National and World record in Constant Weight with 111m........
Well that's what the Egyptian bloke in the hotel shop thought, he kept congratulating me on my dive and saying "112m tomorrow hey mate?" I didn't have the heart to tell him that Australia and Austria were 2 different places ![]() Besides it doesn't hurt to stoke the ego once in a while Cheers, Ben
