Hi All
I know that this is on DB somewhere, but cannot find it?? I am looking for the dates / info / website of the Freediving World Championships that are being held in September this year in Sharm??  Am trying to check the possibility of going over to do some freelance camera work for a local documentary. Many Thanks Jeff

AIDA World Championship
2007-10-23 - 2007-11-03 Place: Sharm el Sheikh Egypt Disciplines: CWT - CNF Team / Indiv: IND Type: International Status: WR AND Ranking With Finals: No Organizer: Riccardo MURA AIDA Individual World Championship in CONSTANT (CWT) and CONSTANT WITHOUT FINS (CNF). Separate days for the two categories, separate days for the categories Men and Women, for a total of 4 (four) days of competition. Total period for the event should be 12 (twelve) days, from October 23rd until November 3rd. Bill wrote in another thread that the dates will be/are moved 1 day in consideration of the flight schedules for Sharm, so 24 October to 04 November. But it would be nice to get an official message from the board or the organizer about this...

Mmm, the two sets of dates are still there - 23-03 in the AIDA Calendar and 23-03 + 24-04 (text) in your calendar? So I guess the 23-03 dates are the official ones until further notice...?

Hi,
I remember some time ago it was required to have AIDA Freediver certification to compete. Is it still mandatory to be AIDA Freediver ** or *** to compete in this AIDA World Championship, or in any other AIDA Championship rankinh event? best regards, Joćo Costa Freediving Moments
