Hi,
The Finnish National Championship will be 23th march in Helsinki. We have also a guest-series that foreingers can participate. More info: Vapaasukelluksen SM-kisat: Sukeltaja Indoor Apnea 2008 - information in english We might have to limit the amount of guests since it is primary the national championship, so act quick

Less than a week to register! Still looking for some high profile international Guests.
Here's a few things to whet your appetite -Who wants to be a movie star? We've got a professional crew (Tekkore.Net Consulting) hired to produce a DVD of the event. For a sample look at the competition trailer: http://www.tekkore.net/transfers/FDHD.wmv - footage will be shot in HD so make sure you're on it by registering!  -We've got some pretty nice prizes from our sponsors Suunto and Tivoli Audio - I won't spoil the surprise, but it's not hard to guess what Suunto product might be sort of hot for freediving right now. -We've changed the Guest series so that all international guests compete in the individual disciplines as well (previously we had only "total points" guest series). What a great competition. I don't think I've ever been in another pool that was this perfect for freediving (despite living in finland this was the first time for me in there).

Nice results! Eero is going strong...
Seems like a great competition. Would have loved to be there to put up a fight! Total winner? Antero? Or was it by discipline?

It was individual competition per discipline, but we always have a bonus award for most total points, which went to Antero for the second time out of three

Well done to everyone. Man, Antero is a tank! Eero is going strong too, great to see him cement a fantastic performance.
Seems like there were a few Surfacing penalties, were there some issues with the pool being shallow at one end? Maybe your local lead dealer is ripping you all off
