It is with great anticipation that we announce details of the first major competition to be organised by Vertical Blue in Dean's Blue Hole, Bahamas...
VERTICAL BLUE 2008
Invitational freediving competition
Dean's Blue Hole . Bahamas . April 1-11

With a stellar cast of 16 of the world's top freedivers, including Nery, Mullins, Trubridge, Shinomiya, Winram and Fattah, this will be the 'clash of the titans' for 2008.
All information and updates regarding the competition will be posted first here

With that sort of cast, sure make for a great DVD in the future. hint hint
I'm sure there'll be plenty of video cameras following the event.

No DVD of the last team and Individual worlds for awhile...

I'll see you at the '09 event

Looking forward to see how our kiwi contingent do in the blue water, especially with no thermoclines!
