Just one more thing.... am I mistaken or was this really the very first competition for the two Checz divers.... Over 6 minutes statics and 140 meters DNF! Where have you been hiding!?

For me it was the first time , that's maybe why I experienced something that I have never experienced during my training ... Josef competed at about forth time, is it right potapnik ?

you are right, my first comp. was czech championship last year (3rd place) then I was disq. at rhein main cup, then Bizzy blue hole (2nd place) and finally Slo open 08. picaso wasnt hiding, he just start freedive about a half a year ago it is difficult compete, when here are so few comp. and so far a way from your home, we are working people, without any sponsors.

You both did a great job. DNF over 130m is already a considerable result. Miha finished 13-th on WChampionship in Maribor with 135m.
Have you two done any other sports on high level before or you just started with freediving and that's it?
I had experienced crushing the wall, but Picasso beat me.

I had competed in swimming from my 6 to about 12 years, and than just normal sports, fitness, bike, scuba, etc. :-)

I didnt train any sport before, when I found freediving is what I was looking for, I quit smoking and drinking and start train, improove very fast.

we have just find our selves in freediving . As far as my DNF, I had 6 time third place in breaststroke (50, 100, 200m) in Slovak championschip and 1 time 2nd when I was young. That's maybe why i can do 140 m even with crashed forehead. Now I just have to get used to that I cannot submerge mo nose and mouth after going up :-).
