Re: Mediterranean Freediving Meeting and International Depth Competition

Like Benny, wish I was there rather than hunched over my laptop dealing with ridiculous spreadsheets.

It just makes me want to walk up to my boss, tell her to shove the job up her arse and jump on a plane to Greece right now. And then to Sharm. And then to Sweden. Then Amsterdam. Then the Bahamas. Then Dahab. Then Greece. Then... you get the picture.

Anyone want to sponsor my quest to follow the sun round the world and never see a cold, wet and windy winter in Wales ever again?

Please.

Re: Mediterranean Freediving Meeting and International Depth Competition

Ok Stavros, because you're being so nasty, you have some explaining to do

What happened to Rob King? 60m FIM shouldn't have been a stretch for him.

And Will W?

Some very very strong results there, congratulations to the Molchanov family and all the rest of you out there. I'm still very jealous!

Cheerio,
Ben

Re: Mediterranean Freediving Meeting and International Depth Competition

Impressive stuff - great dive from Julie Gautier as well as all the more well-known record holders - one to watch I reckon

Stuart - I can't offer financial assistance for your quest but I'll adopt Ellie if you like : )

Re: Mediterranean Freediving Meeting and International Depth Competition

Wow! Great dive, Julie! I guess she figured out the mouth fill, then? It was a topic of much discussion in the Bahamas.

Come on, Will! Get off yer big Canadian ass and make a record!

Good luck to everyone else! And great writing, Anna!

Freediving and record attempts in the med, july 2008

More from Anna, going deep, staying up late, asking silly questions to bring you reports...

Re: Mediterranean Freediving Meeting and International Depth Competition

Sounds like it was a fantastic comp, both in terms of organisation and results. Great stuff Natalia, a couple of WR's back despite the current.

Really appreciated reading Anna Boetticher's reports - some of the best freediving reports I've had the pleasure to read.

Guy
