Only 4 weeks to go and we still have very little registrations for the Long Night of Apnea.

The LNA is the competition with the longest tradition. This year it is the 11th time national and international athletes come together for STA, DYN and the world famous 16x50m.

Accommodation is cheap in the club house and the atmosphere is very German, so very cozy.

I`m sorry I can`t come. I`m emberrased to say but scubadiving is getting in the way Good luck anyway. Will you have DNF next year? I have a hyperfin almost done now, so maybe I should start training with that for a while now

And I love to come, I'm training hard for a big improvement in the 16x50m discipline!
I'm approaching the 13 minutes now in training And I want to make that official in Berlin!

No problem Martin, it is arranged.

I try to get a few other people to chime in the wonderfull Berlin competition.

Did you tell people how great the party and BIG beers are AFTER the competition?
And offcause iconic people like Wolle, Renate, the Danes make it complete.
Berlin is easy and cheap flying to.



The organisors are very experienced, it is very well organised, in a good 50m pool, with a seperate nice warm pool for static with free fruit and drinks!
Let's help eachother, subscribe and have fun weekend and great workout in the lovely Christmass themed warm Berlin!

My freediving friends, thank you all for your responses!

The good news is, we will continue the long tradition of this freediving competition and have the Long Night of Apnea this year as planned.

sound s great but im not yet good enough but maybe next year . definately 2010 im progressing but not yet setting the world on fire . enjoy berlin i stopped over last october en route to a uefa cup game in nuremberg , also great place ,lovely people

First, Thank you Martin for bring to our attention the difficult situation in the first place! I'm also very happy the comp is in the clear now!
Now I can ask my boss that thrilling saturday off, buy the traintickets etc.


Hehe James and other beginners,

Have no Worries about your skills or numbers, be there for the experience!
It's pretty thrilling to participate for the first time, you have to time everything well to be able to do your best at the right moment

You'll find the challenge is very rewarding to be able to manage things well and get in tune with the water and relax and supprice yourself when you get your white card with a nice performance or a personal best!

I should not forget to mention that watching others, meeting new people, getting new idea's IS VERY inspirational to your training!
And seeing an trying out new equipment can also help greatly to determin your next christmass or birthday gift too.

For me it's also a great way to practice my foreign language skills, learning of other events, finding new buddies or even new holyday adresses

So check out the internet for a nice discount flight, I'm sure you'll love the different setting and admosphere, have you ever been in Berlin?
