Something for the smaller guys: My footsize is 40-41 (Europe), my Cressi Gara 3000 has a footpocket size of 40-42 and my monofin (leaderfins) has a Omer footpocket 38-40. Both the bifins as well as the monofin are comfortable without being to loose. I don't wear socks in neither fins..

Omer Millenium Competition 42-44 (9/11)
Shoe size 9.5 US , normal width 5mm socks - cut-off blood suply 3mm socks - too tight from sides and top, definitely not comfortable after several hours of diving or next day. I am thinking of buying a bigger size. A strange thing - I did not notice that they are too small for several years. It's either now I spend more time in the water, or they shrunk somehow or my feet grew up ( I am 34) . |

Shoe size: 10 US 3mm socks: fits comfortably at the front and sides, however the heel seems to be a tad loose. |

My feet size - 43 or 44 sometimes
my fins: Gara 2000HF 42-43 (8-9), perfect fit with no sox Sporasub Elite 40-42 (7-9) perfect fit with no sox When I looked for footpockets for my C4 blades, I tried some Omer's, but they were too stiff for me. Beuchat (don't remember size though) were nice fit but placing of blades into was difficult. Fitting the blades into Sporasub's were fast and easy. (bought them here - SCUBALAND Magasin d'équipement et matériel de plongée sous-marine vente en ligne sécurisée)

make and model of fins you own: Omer Millenium Black
size of fins: 42-44 thickness and type of socks worn: 3mm Immersion comments regarding quality of fit: Snug. Never had them come off and always felt comfortable. foot size and country: 9 UK (around that...I think) any additional fit/foot info: Very wide. Hairy toes. Friends (and I use that term loosely) call them hobbit feet.

make and model of fins you own: Omer Millenium Black
size of fins: 42-44 and 40-42 (obviously Omer foot pockets) thickness of socks worn: none, 3mm and 5mm. comments regarding quality of fit: 42-44 3mm socks are fine, but I prefer 5mm (temp. of water and nice snug fit), barefoot is too loose for me. 40-42 I can only wear barefoot anything else is too tight. foot size and country: 8 US, I have high arches and my width is an E (wide at toes, not so much on the ankle) so I end up wearing 8.5 and sometimes 9 to get a wide enough shoe.

I've recently added a pair of SporaSub 46-48 foot pockets to my kit, and find that with a 5mm sock, they fit my U.S. size 10.75 (size 11) feet comfortably.
My Omer 44-46 pockets are too tight (perhaps due to my arches), and are uncomfortably snug even with a 3mm sock. I'm wondering if anyone can comment on the spacing of the blade mounting holes found on various foot pockets. Are the hole positions similar from one footpocket manufacturer to another? Or are there differences that would preclude the interchangability of blades? Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

make and model of fins you own: Imersion Escapez Green
size of fins (40-42) thickness and type of socks worn: 2mm comments regarding quality of fit Slightly loose, would be great with 3/5mm socks (UPDATE Sept 2007: too tight with 5mm socks, need one size up) foot size and country 8 - 9 Depending on make any additional fit/foot info I would have to say they fit spot on. Green fin is too soft for hard power use, but great for all day swims. Some stress marks on bad water entries. UPDATE Sept 2007: THEY ARE GREAT FINS, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PRICE/QUALITY Last edited by azapa; September 3rd, 2007 at 14:48. Reason: info UPDATE |

Has anybody already have experience with the Nemo footpockets as used by waterway? I am looking at a wings nemo monofin which I want to use with socks. However i cannot decide wether I need 40-43 or 44-45 with socks. 40-43 would probably fit barefoot I assume. footsize: 43-44 euro (depending on shoe) 26cm and a little bit in length Fins: Cressi freefrog which I use for underwaterhockey size: 43-44 fit snug barefoot, not able to use socks. |

Kenai,
You want the 44-45 for sure. I have a size 43 foot and most of my other footpockets are 42-44- I have Sproasub and OMER pockets on my fins but have also owned Picasso, Cressi, Esclapez, and Spetton pockets of the same size. I happen to own that exact fin that you're talking about, the NEMO, and can get a 3-5mm sock in with my 44-45 footpockets. I had a chance to try the size down, which unirdna has, and I could only wear it with cotton running socks on. Jon

Thank you Jon for your advice footsize: 43 euro (26cm) WW Nemo Wings size 44-45, Nemo pockets Pockets fit a bit loose barefeet and snug but not tight with 3mm socks Comfortable fit. A bit hard getting into the pockets with socks deu to the friction with the socks. |

Foot size - 45.
- C4 Falcon with Sporasub footpockets, size 46-48, with 4 mm Beuchat socks; very comfortable. - Picasso Black Team, size 46-48, with 5-7 mm socks; very comfortable. - "Dolphin" rubber fins, size 42, with cutted heelpiece (weared facedown for pool trainings)

I believe that there is a lot of variation in position of blade mounting holes. But when I bought my Matrix blades and put them in Picasso Black Team pockets, I just drilled the blades to match the pockets. Info requested: Size 10 shoes 44-46 Picasso Black Team pockets 4 mm booties.
