They should probably not stay with freediving..
To be fair to the boys, they were under a lot of stress there. No calm-down from being live on stage a few minutes earlier, had to change into wetsuits, get into the tank etc. Plus you can see they were in an unrelaxed position ( the producers did not want them floating as with normal statics ).

In training they had both performed about double the time they did live, which actually isn't too bad for people new to apnea. For someone new, I don't really have expectations beyond 2 minutes, and they both easily passed that.

Afterwards Ant was annoyed ( as he said a couple of times! ) but nothing more than that. Although he dipped his face in the water after surfacing, there was no hint of LMC.

I wouldn't discourage them ( or anyone for that matter! ) from freediving just because they didn't get to 4 or 5 minutes on their first try. Ant really enjoyed his training session, and was quite at home in the water. However, I suspect they are a bit too busy to devote much more time to it

Re: Freediving on YouTube

I deleted my last post on here as it was taken the wrong way by a certain moderator...NOTHING was SEXUAL or offensive about it (the post)...I understand this is an international website...And that SOME underage or easily offended people often read here. However I was only stating that Hostel's in the U.S. are (were fun) including the German & Polish people AND WOMEN I have met at them in my past....Nothing SEXUAL was said what so ever. NOTHING. And yes...Foreign women, (and men also) - ARE fun to hang around with - like I said in that now deleted post.

Sorry if any Germans or Polish people took offense...Or ANYONE else for that matter. Actually MOST would have taken that as a compliment to the Polish and German people and thier usual extreme and fun friendliness. Nostres is one of the coolest guys I've met in a long time...I'm sure he WOULD not of been offended. And I myself am of German decent...Hence the last name Schalk. I find it odd that a GUY from Konstance Germany would have taken any offense at all or construed it to be offending to anyone! I'd say YOUTUBE could be construed as offensive in itself...Yet it is one of the MOST popular sites on the net. Lots of people of ALL sorts hit that site everyday...Tons of young ones too!

That being said, I am now done posting about anything FUN anymore (except freediving in general) due to the EXTREME censorship sometimes applied to certain post's OF MINE. I see PLENTY of post that could be construed as VERY offensive and VERY sexual in nature on here ALL OF THE TIME. Some of them by the moderators and mentor's themselves. We have ALL seen it. Sorry this isn't a perfect world. So be it.

I will continue to freedive and have fun doing it.. Deeperblue or not. However I DO value the friends I have made here, and have PERSONALLY freedived with them on several occasions. Deeperblue is great site all in all - And I would like to think that the MAJORITY of those who read my post get a laugh or learn something...As is I'm sure IS usually the case. But I am tired of being LAMBASTED by a certain moderator every other day lately, while I continue to see post that definately would rate somewhat high on the scale of being of sexual nature or offensive - To SOME people anyways - even if them "some people" are DEFINATELY the minority of those who would be offended or take part in forums on Deeperblue.net

So for now...Until I cool off a bit - I am just gonna lurk around...No hard feelings...I love this site...But ONE of the moderators has been a bit overbearing lately - In my honest opinion.

See you all later!
