Re: Freediving on YouTube

For a Red Cross video-competition related to a big charity day I made this one with one of my friends... Not the classic freedive video - but fun!

"Livredder" means "Lifeguard in danish.

Shot at Copenhagen,

Morten

A compilation of videos from Wisconsin Waters - The HD version is available on YOUTUBE. This video has loud noises also called Rock Music - consider yourself warned. I just thought it was fitting.

Re: Freediving on YouTube

Here is a video of me doing dynamic in the world championships in Sharm El Sheikh. My monofin technique sucks (but hey, I got my first monofin only 8 months ago, before that I was training only DNF) and I would need much more angle between footpockets and blade. My speed is very slow, whole dive took me 3´30, which is probably too slow to be optimal. In this video I'm using a soft Leaderfins Hyper monofin.

Big thanks to Stig for filming my dive!

Only Videographer Nik could make me bobbing around freezing my butt off appear interesting. Thanks Nik! Now I must learn how to properly use my cool new fins.

Re: Freediving on YouTube

Great spot to dive and film people!

To size the fin down you can use a sheet of hard neoprene or rubber to be put or glued inside the footpocket.

What is fun to see is some interaction between divers, did that I hear a scuba diver make a sound when the bi-fin Freediver came down?
Also nice to come up with some freediving games, and showcase them?

A chace/racing would be fun to see of two divers doing a UW obstackle course? Or play tag?
Hide and seek an object would be cool too. Hide a bouquet of plastic flowers while the finder waits for the other to hide it at strange places?

Or perbaps just some nice under water dances, for instance you can try cha cha cha, but remember the Samba is not allowed.

I'm jeolous of your dive site!

Love, Courage and Water,

Kars

ps the clasical music does fit freediving well Is this a freediving film trend develloping?

My underwater camera records sounds underwater.
We are not so many( games needed more divers.
We usualy 2~3. Once where 4.
Yes I did desize my bi-fins using PC mouce-pad and it fitt well on a bare foot. With monofin I want to use diving 5mm socks. Diving shop at the moment was out of 5mm soks. Threre fore we use regular white soks
