Get on Trux's website and have a look around. I swear the guy has nothing better to do than add more articles/videos about freediving to it.

Thanks for the tips. I wish I could have a look around around the website but I accidently put my real birth date few weeks ago and it blocked me hehe. I'll have to register from somewhere else I guess. Dzieki

If I detect you (for what I know quite a few tricks), I will block your account anyway. Unless you send me the consent of your parents as requested on the website. I do not want to be held (or feel) responsible if a similar (or worse) accident like on your video happens to you when you use my training program. That's exactly why I require parental consent at minors.

However, for accessing the database of videos, documents, and links, you do not need to be registered, so feel free to study them as much as you wish (in fact I highly recommend it even if you are not major at all).

Re: Freediving on YouTube

I think it's a little "weird" as everyone should know freediving is dangerous if not done properly and you are doing it at your own risk but on the other side I understand you.

Re: Freediving on YouTube

Unfortunately not everyone knows or respects it. Each year there are dozens when not hundreds of people dying because of SWB, or when performing breath-holding in pools. There are also numerous injuries of people training dry apnea. Choking on your own tongue or saliva while unconscious remains a possibility too, so even dry training in bed is not without a risk. And the worst you can do (and what most beginners do) is hyperventilation - especially the aggressive kind you show in your video. It does not matter at all if you wait a moment afterward to calm you down. It is not the heart rate change that is dangerous, it is the changed level of CO2 that puts you in a great risk of blackout, and that will not change with a few seconds of calming down. The fact that you are not aware of such risks is serious enough alone to ban you from my Apnea Training Manager, regardless of your age. Unfortunately though, young people of your age tend to ignore the danger and risk their life easily. That's why I require the consent f their parent who should be aware of the dangers and make sure of proper safety and surveillance of their kid. I am requiring the respecting of safety rules at adults too, unfortunately though at them I cannot ask any consent of governors, although often it would be needed too.

I really would advise you to read little bit more about the safety (not only about the hyperventilation and SWB, but also about general safety precaution during training) or join a club with proper safety rules. If you continue in the way shown in your video, I am afraid you will not live too old.

Re: Freediving on YouTube

Yes I know, hyperventilation is bad and dangerous. By the way in my video the hyperventilation is speeded up 300 times so it doesn't take so much time, maybe that's why it looks so aggressive. It's probably for my own good but I get this feeling like everyone already knows I'm forgetting all precautions in water and going to drown soon etc. This was the only time I hyperventilated and blacked out, whenever I'm in water I am accompanied by two or three partners and never hyperventilate. Peace.
