Hi! Let's be honest... I'm sick of all-training!!
Magically, today's new article from Peter Scott about Freediving Cross-Training (excellent read!! I can't wait to see cross-training regimes from the Solomons, Sebastian, Eric.... ) has arrived right on time My doubt: I've been doing cycling, running, swimming, light yoga, calistenics, weight training..... Is there any fuc***g activity out there (or at most two ) that gives strength, flex and cardio benefits at the same time? What about Asthanga/Power Yoga?I'm sure it gives flex and lung benefit... also half sure about strength conditioning... but can asthanga give cardiovascular benefits??? I'm rather skeptical (SP?) at this. Any experiences? Come on! Let's share our cross-training secrets here hehe Maybe a poll about main cross-training activity? I'm seriously considering sticking to Asthanga if I can positively evaluate it's cardiovascular benefits. Has anyone lowered his 5km running time after only a yoga regime? Thanks for sharing, Oscar

Oscar,
The Salutation to the Sun done repeatedly can give a good cardio workout with a lot of flex. Just do 100 smoothly but non-stop in the morning and 100 in the evening! Adrian |

uhhhh what a light workout, Adrian!!
I'm having a hard time redifining my training... maybe just ashtanga+ running PS: BTW: I think my heart is in its 140's while doing Sun Salutations.. so 20 minutes of SS would do a good cardio workout
