Performance course in Seattle 2007, June 30-July 3

Mandy-Rae has indicated that June 30- July 3 would be available for Performance freediving to come to Seattle and teach a four day course. The cost is $595 per person if we register before 2007 (increases by $100 per person in 2007). If you want to participate, please mail a deposit check payable to Dean Valente (Bottom Sounders club treasurer) for $300 by December 15, 2006.

If we do not have the minimum number of participants for the course by Dec 15, your deposit will be mailed back in full. If the course does go, and it turns out you cannot make the course for some reason, you can apply your deposit to another course and time (http://www.performancefreediving.com...ndpolicy.html).

As you can see from the Prerequisites, anyone with any basic diving experience can take the course so please encourage friends who want to get into freediving:

Prerequisites:
Basic Freediver or experience with Freediving, spearfishing or scuba diving (general comfort in the water)
Good health and fitness
12 years of age with guardian permission
Static Apnea (breath-hold) of 1:00 minute dry
Constant Ballast (unassisted freedive) of 6 meters / 20 feet
