AIDA Freediver 3*/4* Courses in Greece with Fred Buyle

Fred Buyle is holding a 3*/4* course in Greece during the 3rd week of June (final dates to be agreed with after participation is finalized)

The AIDA Freediver 3*/4* Courses are aimed at freedivers and spearos wanting to expand their theoretical and practical knowledge and get familiarised with the latest developments in freediving. More info on the courses can be found at AIDA Int. website: (http://www.hotweb.se/aspportal1/code...ryID=4&actID=3)

The material covered during the courses includes:

• The Lungs at Depth
• Technique - Failure Depth and Exhale Diving
• Technique - Mouthfill, Packing and Reverse Packing
• Decompression Sickness and Freediving
• Equipment for Deeper Freediving
• Training and Recovery
• Nutrition and Hydration
• Running an Open Water Freedive Session
• Practical Training Sessions

The practical sessions will be held in dive sites near Athens (the water temperature is expected to be in the 22C range at the time) and the pool is most likely going to be an outdoor pool (so we can enjoy the sunshine)

The course's open water sessions include one sled diving training session where the participants are going to have a chance to try sled-diving in the NLT and Variable disciplines (a tandem sled will be used with the instructors escorting the students in their dives)

The course will be held in English but there is the possibility for explanations/coaching to be given in French / German / Greek languages.
For the open water and pool sessions Fred is going to be assisted by AIDA Int. instructors Stavros Kastrinakis () and Panagiota Balanou.

For more information on the course please contact me at:
skastrinakis@yahoo.com or tel +30 6977808648
or Fred Buyle at fred@futurapnea.com
For those wanting to arrange to visit Greece for the course please get in touch with me so I can help out with accommodation etc.

Cheers Stavros
