I train for less oxygen in some weird ways. I like to put halloween masks on one over the other then get under the covers of my bed to get excess Co2.
I breathe though straws and blow the air out of my lungs and hold it out for hypoxia and to get contractions( I can hold my breath with full lungs, also). Goggles that I can put over my nose and mouth at the same time(those old kind) are good for helping me to not breathe(although I often sneak what little air I can get in if I contort my face to open a space for the precious little air that seeps through when I do this. Other ways to feel out of breath: go in a really steamy steamroom, go outside on extremely hot or cold days, humid days are great, etc. What do you think of my ideas, and could you list some of your own most unique ones? I already know about and do pranayama. I also know about the high altitude tents and intend to get one if I can afford it. |

Yes, weird. Not to mention dangerous. Have you tried taping your mouth and nose shut. That is an extremely effective method of inducing a hypoxic state.
Seriously though, what your doing does sound really dangerous. You need to ensure that if you black out your airways can become clear. With the methods you describe I would suggest someone watching you at all times.

If you are being serious, that does sound very dangerous.
