I am trying to research some training to better myself as a freediver. Someone on this website told me about walking apnea, tables, and the like. Unfortunately I cannot find that original thread.
Can someone send me a table to go by- for walking and sitting apnea trainings? Also, what kind of in-pool training can I do. If you have written instructions/tables for these kinds of trainings, that would be awesome As I said before, some of you already informed me of this info, I just didn't write it down and I think I've lost it. If you don't mind reiterating!!! Much obliged! -Mike D

Hi there is 2 diffrent types of tables. One whit increased hold time and one whit decreased rest time. They are usally called O2 and CO2 tabels.
An O2 tabel consists of 8 holds that increase in time. The last hold is usally about 80% of youre max and 2 min of rest between the holds. An CO2 tabel consists of 8 holds that are about 50% of youre max. And the rest time is decreased whit around 15 sek every time. Try and then and feel what works for you theses tabels are not set in stone. good luck and have fun. Excuse all my spelling errors. |
