Re: Advantages of FRC diving?

Brian,

I strongly suggest you find either a very very skilled yoga teacher - or an equally skilled adept in qigong/chinese medicine/taiji - either of these - if you can find someone very good, these practices can specifically and effectively target what you are dealing with. Meanwhile - I suggest - as you breathe - that first visualize or imagine - then feel the vertebra in your spine expand and contract - feel the spaces between them - try to soften areas of tension by feeling areas that are not tense - but near them - expand and gradually permeate the tense regions. Think of the breath as penetrating and saturating areas that are relatively opaque to sensation. Face down in a pool, breathing through a snorkel - is a great way to practice breathing with your spine.

Re: Advantages of FRC diving?

thanks! I've noticed just free floating in the pool that im in pain. My 27 year oldmuscles are so tense that i can't even relax gravity-free. It's gonna take some work. I appreciate the advice....
