intermediate freediving and spearfishing classes wanted

Hi,
i just came back from the fiji islands and am hooked on spearfishing. i want to take a course on freediving and spearing if possible. i live in new york city but will travel to miami. anybody know any spots/teachers/classes in the next months? thx!

Miami has FIT there. You can do your freediving courses there. As for spearfishing, you can try and hook up with some of the local spearos. I'm sure they'd be happy to show you the ropes.

Take the FIT Level II for the diving. As for spearing, it just takes time, practice and a buddy. FIT won't have a course for at least a month with Martin headed to Egypt. I don't know what PFI has coming up.
