Beginner here looking for ways to more effectively hunt in fresh water. Can some of you pros pitch in here and tell me some of your pearls of wisdom in getting closer to the fresh water fish? Im just getting into fresh water fish and am particularly interested in learning to hunt fresh water striped bass.

General locations: boulders, walls, structure, current, sandy or rocky bottom

Tricks: flashers, noises or scent or bait or whatever

Common depths of different species?

Come on you DB people, I never get responses on this forum- dont make me go somewhere else to beg and grovel for advice.
