Greetings to one and all. I am finally back on line after having many fun filled hours being on hold with various Gorgon like corportations version of hell on earth - automated telephone services. Or scheduling appointments with local ISP providers who never followed through and then were either sorrowful or peeved as they attempted to deny responsibility for their inability to keep an appointment. But we are finally up and running and I have already learned some new things as I looked back over almost two months of being away from the forums.
I have settled into my internship and am starting to feel as we are getting caught up and organized. The clinic is well run and I have been seening a challenging range of pathology. I think I am very fortunate to have gotten this internship site. The landscape of Utah is ranges from drop your fins beautiful to spirit sucking human made gaping wound ugly. Fortunately, we spend much of our free time out in the mountains. Quite by accident, on one of our explorations we came across Homestead Cavern and were able to go inside and see the hotwater cistern. Unfortunately, I had not brought any of my gear and you have to have a reservation and it cost $15. The cistern is 65 ft. deep and the water is 95 degrees F. I am saving it for the cold of winter. Unfortunately, I have yet to get my head underwater since the move but maybe in the next couple of weeks. More Later, Angus |

Angus,
Welcome back! Always good to see a familiar face (or signature in this case!) - pull up a chair...the freediving world hasn't stopped since you were last online - and so are these forums!! |
