Advisors/Mentors wanted!

Hi everyone,

As can be seen, the forums are growing in popularity every day and we're trying to adapt to the growing needs of our members.

One area that we are keen to help develop is the "advisor/mentor" system that has been sucessfully deployed in several other sites. (we haven't decided which of the two titles to use yet)

The advisor/mentor would be there to help oversee the running of the forums, mainly by making sure the conversations/threads stay reasonably on topic, ensuring the forum rules are abided by and (most importantly) stimulating the posts in the forums.

The persons who would fill this role would ideally be someone who has been freediving more than once and be able to log on and interact with the forums on a regular basis.

So, what do these advisors/mentors get in return? Well, it is a volunteer role (like all staff positions on Deeper Blue) but they would get slightly elevated priveleges on the forums (for example the ability to edit posts) and would get access to a special staff only area on the forums that they can talk with their fellow advisors/mentors.

I can also promise that after 1 month of good service, we will ship them an exclusive Seven Tenths T-Shirt that isn't even on sale to the public. There will be other goodies like that over the months of service to say thank you!
