Hair or Air?

Wow, I stumbled across a link that suggests that finasteride (a.k.a. Propecia or Proscar) can inhibit the body's ability to increase EPO production (and thereby hematocrit production) in response to various known stressors -- the one of interest for most of us being apnea.

I am currently taking Propecia (the things people will admit in public!). Now I've gotta decide whether I'd rather have the hair or the improvement in static apnea times.
