Hi,
yes, it was a game show (it's about betting on being able to do something weired *g*) and no, I didn't participate *g*. As far as I am concerned the idea arose at a competition in Germany  . It was broadcasted last December in German, Austrian and Swiss TV. It was pretty cool and good publicity for freediving. And of course they won the bet ! A report written by two of the divers can also be found at http://www.finandfun.de/Aktionen/Wet.../wettendas.htm (German, too). One of the guys in the car was Curt Teichgraeber, I guess the other one was from AIDA Germany, too ? Perhaps Wolle knows more. Veronika

hi,
it was a pretty funny bet - i saw it. The show is called "Wetten, dass..."! They present the bet and then some celebrities can choose if they believe they can do it or not. If they are wrong, they have to do something... It is very known in germany, austria and switzerland and they have always one celebrity from around the world and some local guests... Kylie Minoque, Zeta-Jones, Tom hanks and many others have allready been there... But i don`t know which one the other guy was... greets
