Another USA DYF Record

Kevin Busscher accomplished 140 meters DYF at CAFA Western Regionals Completition in Vancouver. Subject to ratification, this breaks the DYF record for the second time within one week. Congratulations Kevin! Good luck tomorrow in the DNF.

Peace,
Glen

Re: Another USA DYF Record

He did the swim with PLASTIC GARA 2000HF bifins!!

This is one of the longest official swims in history using plastic bifins.

Congratulations!

Re: Another USA DYF Record

Hey Eric,

I just got off the phone with Kevin and actually the fins were his old beat up black blade Esclepez fins. They're a step down for the 2000's.

CONGRATS KEVIN!!!!!

Re: Another USA DYF Record

The longest DYF dive with plastic bifins is probably Martin Stepanek's 200m (inofficial) training WR in Canada...

Re: Another USA DYF Record

Were the dynamic no-fins events at the CAFA Western Regionals in a 25m or a 50m pool?

Cheers,
Ben
