dizzy

when ever im doing dry statics i get dizzy for first few seconds of the breath hold then it goes away is this normal just a bit worried.

Hi, I think it can be caused by a little hyperventilation. Be carefull and try to breath better

is this dangerous or not i dont free dive i speafish and i thought i would get more relpies on here so is it safe for me to be hyperventilating or not

For spearfishing it is not good to hyperventilate, definitely not until you feel dizzy!

It increases the risk of having a blackout or samba, because it delays the urge to breathe and therefore makes it easier to go over the limit.

I sometimes get dizzy from REALLY filling my lungs, and also from packing. I have no idea of the cause, but I'd hate to be starting down the line when it hits (or practicing packing while driving ; o).
