108m CW - that makes a 216m in total, which is actually a bigger distance than the current WR in dynamic, just vertically. I know that it is not comparable - a part of the sinking is motionless, but in contrary the ascend then needs more effort than horizontal swimming. I wonder if Martin ever tries to beat the dynamic record. I'd tell that he may have the capacity to do it.
Congrats, Martin! |

That's a lot! If the CW depth is half the dynamic distance, that gives me a potential CW of... 22m!
![]() (I know it doesn't always work that way. Someone once said that for every 1 minute of static, it should be possible to do 20m of dynamic. That means I should be able to do 115m dynamic...) Congrats Martin! ![]()

Amazing dive Martin!
He's now gone deeper, CB, than the sled records of Mayol and Enzo! BTW: Did Martin switch from a Specialfins mono to a Waterway?

Maybe the switch to Waterway was due to Carlos' use of the same? I also read on Martinstepenek.com that his old ankle injury is bothering him -- could also be related to switching fins.
