I have been beached! help!

For those of you who do not know, whales/dolphins die from beaching becuase their bodies have adapted to the low gravity of water, thus the weight of their own bodies crushes their lungs and other organs.

Now, i have had several cases where when i lie down for a long time/sleep i suddenly have strong crushing pains in my chest/lungish area. I am probally just sleepin funky but i proposed the adapted to water theory to several of my friends who are avid divers/ swimmers who also feel the pain sometimes. They thought it sounded far fetched but almost believable.

What are your experiences/ thoughts on this....and NO i will not see a doctor.

Well we have a solid ribcage so we don't need the water and therefore don't squash out of the water - I would be surprised if your idea was true!

Aaah, no-one's ever called me bikiniboy before. As to whether you are a whale, we will have to wait until December 15th before you 'Show me the money!'

Ya, i do SCUBA as well.
i only really have the feeling after a day of diving or breath holding swim sets.

i do scuba i learned to scuba and then learned to dive properly

i really want to go dive (both styles) but my fav. dive spots are taken by the waves, do any of you know of a good oahu dive spot?

PS: i am really into underwater pic. taking but all i have/use atm is a waterproof walmart kind of housing. does any1 know if it's seal ever wears out? for the kind of diving i do the camera is perfect but im worried about the housing. comments?
