Gaia - There are alternative fuels that are renewable, eg. ethanol, methanol, biodiesel.
And please stop going on about your ex b-friend. Get over it and the poor little animals. Anyway he should stop wasting his time saving cats and ducks and volunteer at an abortion clinic - they need a helping hand.
Abortion is one the best things we can do for this planet. At the root of the environmental problem is that this earth is overpopulated. Bring on the bird flu. Save the chickens, kill the cats!

Sorry Shoutatthesky, I disagree with the let's depopulate the earth thing.
If you happan to agree, just pay of your debts, safe the money for your disposal, help your self, or just try harder to learn the value and a meaning of life. A middle road could be castration or sterilisation.

I feel very stong about life, all life, because I came from the other side. Falling prey to zealotism and depression I was for a long time living the 'rational life' I though I was supposed to live, with no knowledge of about even the existance of a ghost inside the machine, whom was carefully suppressed by the enviroment and ego's unsatisfieble demands.

If it's just a sarcastic example, I've just taken it the wrong way.
But I hope those who've not seen the beauty and miracle of life keep looking and experience it.
