| Re: Herbert Nitsch Pool excercises were great fun, good to have some static sessions. Was a great weekend, lots of fun, vobster was as green as ever and wasnt even too cold. Even found someting new, the big ship thing between the tunnel and the sailing boat with some nice swim throughs a bit deeper. |

| Re: Herbert Nitsch I was surprised, how much fun it was to dive in that Vobster quarry and how motivating a well lectured pool session can be. (Out of no training, I made a personal best on the “crazy- table”). Thanks to everyone for your support in the UK – it was very nice to see all of you again!

| Re: Herbert Nitsch Not bad visibility there - how did it compare to chilly Chepstow? Would have liked to have met Herbert but couldn't make it. Oh well.

| Re: Herbert Nitsch A lot better vis than Chepstow but unfortunately the scubies stirred it up very quickly. I think those photos were taken first thing in the morning, by the time we got in the vis wasn't too crash hot. Still ok though.

| Re: Herbert Nitsch Cheers Ben. When I said the vis wasn't bad I really meant, wow, I want to dive there, swimming by the rocks and plants. I wonder how much time there is before the waters are muddied?

| Re: Herbert Nitsch Ah, good old English understatement, still getting used to it Basically the vis was spectacular before stirred up (though not much sunlight gets through the trees, then it muddies a bit fairly quickly.

(As I remember it!) 1:00 exhale hold 2:00 breathe up 1:00 exhale hold 1:00 breathe up 1:00 exhale hold 0:30 breathe up 1:00 exhale hold 0:15 breathe up 1:00 exhale hold 4:00 breathe up 1:00 exhale hold - DON'T BREATHE IN!! Instead inhale the smallest sip of air you can every 15 seconds, if you get far enough then pack every 15 sec. Not breathing in at the end of a hold feels wierd at first, but you'll get used too it in no time. I was lucky enough to be at that pool session (Thanks MIG!) - I managed around 3:30 on the last hold (1:00 exhale + 2:30 of "sips" every 15 sec) - really inspiring to see Herbert do 8:00 final hold (1:00 exhale + 7:00 of "sips" every 15 sec)!! Hope that helps! Ady |

| Re: Herbert Nitsch When training you can extend the 1min hold a little... Herbert usually uses about 2.30!!!! Although 2min is a good passive hold. MIG |

| Re: Herbert Nitsch Thanks for these informations. One question: Passive hold = exhale hold? |
