I nearly forgot! Two weeks ago I had a chance to freedive with a Gavin Scooter - it was awesome! Had troubles equalising though
 but as you surface you rocket out the water  it was great fun, I ended just doing surface stuff in the end as i didn't want to wreck my ears.  Anyone else tried a Gavin?

My father-in-law ones one and I've used his before.
own an Apollo and have used it for scuba/freedivng for about 10 years now. Longfins convinced me to switch my belt over to a rock climbing harness to strap in with- so i can clear my ears with my other hand. It works great and gives me places to clip off my float and camera while I'm zipping along the bottom. Jon

hey that's a good idea. i doubt i'll be using it any time soon again as it belongs to Deepwater and i dont go as deep as him
 plus he is shipping it to the Philippines to go and dive the Coron Wrecks  dam i wish i was going.
