Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to update you all here seeing as the biggest response to my last posting came from within these pages. Some of you may remember that about 3 months ago I posted a message looking for models for a planned film project. I need to take this time to mention that the project has now been put on the back burner due to professional undertakings. As an underwater camera operator I have always had these dreams at the back of my mind. Where do I wanna go? Where do I wanna end up? Who would be the coolest people to work for? Of course I kept coming up with the same answer: National Geographic. Fortunately for me, I guess I had been doing things correctly over the past years, but I have now just accepted a permanent gig with a specialist department of the society. Whilst not full time underwater a lot of the projects are marine based so I guess I will have that to look forward to. I'm basically gonna be the 'go to man' in the field heading up the WildCam and CritterCam programs. I have worked on CritterCam deals in the past on Sperm Whales and White Sharks which were both incredible projects. Now making that a permanent gig is a dream come true. I just wanted to post that here as I know there were a lot of people holding out for news and information on the planned project. Maybe in the future, who knows? But for now it's been put on indefinite hold. Again, thanks for the great response and interest to the initial posting. To those incredible professionals who stepped up and submitted their information and desire to get involved I thank you sincerely and wish you all the, safest, continued fortune in your chosen sports, you are true athletes.
