Re: NEW Dynamic World Record !

Thanks a lot for the answers, but I forgot maybe the most important question. Are you doing any warm up?

Re: NEW Dynamic World Record !

I guess it was about 18 months of fairly solid training. I didn't vary my training much except for a bit of tapering towards the end.

Did 7:14 but that must be close to 2 years ago now. Haven't done statics since

Re: NEW Dynamic World Record !

I totally understand you....I also avoid doing statics. If I have to deal with the contractions I prefer having them while moving.

Re: NEW Dynamic World Record !

I always do static, I find that like some kind of basic training for all kinds of disciplines... so I always do static once a week.... But I do not go overboard with it... even when I train just for static I do not take more then 3 wet static on a week.

Re: NEW Dynamic World Record !

Dave, I'm stunned... I turn my head a while while I hung in mountains for a while and you pull this sort of performances!!!

I've retaken the training at the Panmure pool with Fran, so I may have a chance to see you swimming one of those days...

If I remember well you use to hung around Auckland for the summer? I hope you still spearfish

Huge congratulations!

Re: NEW Dynamic World Record !

Hey Pablo!

Which mountains?

My parents have a place on the coromandel now, so we will be up there fairly often over summer - and probably some trips up to Auckland as well.

Re: NEW Dynamic World Record !

Just spend 5 months in the Himalayas, and before I was rafting by myself down Lao's jungles... busy ahahahha

I'm up cortomandel most weekends durring the hot season, mostly stony bay and around

Once you flaten out all the records, you may want a new chalenge helping me to land some serious FISH, like the ones in White island, from kayaks
