Hello freedivers,

Well, not me personally, my wish is that AIDA makes the investment and then sell them. Not so much for profit, but also so they can give free decks to the judges and instructors and whoever else bust their hind for the everyday AIDA. And otherwise at least make ends meat in the process.

Two ideas:
Theme 1: Just make them waterproof and red yellow or white backed. This way judges will never be short of offical performance cards and can play poker while they wait for the performances to complete. Given the length of time taken for statics and dynamics this would seem a good way for them to pass the time. Theme 2: Make them nude! I'm sure with a little encouragement we could get a lot more nude freediving images. Nude playing cards are after all, always in fashion. I can imagine myself already swapping them like football cards....."I'll give you my ten BennyB's doing nude static for your one Tanya dynamic." - sorry Benny regards

I should be surprised when my name is mentioned around nudity but strangely i'm not...
Marwan, Audrey was on the version I saw. There will be millions of personal opinions on something like this. Mine is that Luc Besson shouldn't be there, as although he has made an epic (the original) freediving movie, he is also responsible for casting Rosanna Arquette in it which will take me a long time to forgive him for. Hey Chris,
If you are doing this card thing to drum up a little revenue for AIDA how about scraping it and implementing a 5 euro free for every comp sanctioned by AIDA. I personally think this would be a better use of a board members time. DSV

My own perspective is actually not to make AIDA a huge profit on this deck, but to provide people with 'fun'. Or at the least make enough profit in the process to sponsor next year's deck, or perhaps some official judges T-shirts, etc.
The only working ressources is my own time. I do all this voluntarily and don't want a single cent for it, so that saves a few bucks.
