Re: Subprof, has anyone been screwed by them before???

I know the people at Subprof as I live close by, and can vouch for them not being dishonest or trying to rip people off. As with any company that works through the internet they do have occasional problems, mostly due to their suppliers not delivering on time. And in several of the situations I've seen, there can be a language problem.

If you PM me your name and order number, and what exactly you asked for and the date, I'll be happy to call the owner and help you get this sorted out.

Adrian

Re: Subprof, has anyone been screwed by them before???

I've ordered stacks of gear from them, and have done so for about five years. Never a problem. That's good of you Adrian to sort that out.

Perhaps the title of this post could be changed or toned down a bit, as I doubt very much that they are intentionally screwing anyone. Have you emailed them to find out what's happened to your order?

Re: Subprof, has anyone been screwed by them before???

I placed an order for over 300 euros 51/2 weeks ago - nothing has arrived & no answers to my mails!! The only information I have had was a mail saying part of my order was not in stock but that was 51/2 weeks ago?

Is subprof the same company in l'estartit (scuba store?) If not, then I have got them mixed up.and I have never used them. Sorry.

Foxfish, pm me your order details as well, I'll call them.

Sara, it's not the same people. Subprof is in Cassa de la Selva, near the airport.

Re: Subprof, delayed orders

I just had a few fun days with DHL who deliver for Scubastore. My package arrived in the UK no problems and on time (hat's off to Scubastore), then it was DHL UK's turn to drive it to my door - what a bunch of every excuse under the sun delivery service!

I will use Scubastore again - no problem but I will avoid DHL UK like the plague!

Re: Subprof, delayed orders

Ive used subpro a few times and find that emailing first to make sure the items I want are in stock helps a lot.

Good prices and Friendly staff.

Re: Subprof, delayed orders

I've ordered from them before and the only problem i had was DHL- It took an extra week- because they said they couldn't find my house. I ended up having to sit on the phone with the guy and give them turn by turn directions.
