Cool! This reminds me of last year this time when I saw my first whale shark. It was the most awesome surprise ever, since I always thought I would have to travel to some exotic location to see these fish. Instead I saw a 4m one right here in Port Elizabeth's new latest greatest deep water port, Coega, where I was doing some diving work. It was accompanied by two manta rays-another first!and quite a few small hammerheads. Well I must say me and the rest of the dive team were like a bunch of small kids...what a day! I'll try find some photos, unfortunately the viz was only about 2-3m so it's not the greatest WS photos out.
