The new Pro QDi3

Just finished my open water and drysuit certifications (finally, thank goodness) and wanted to share my opinion of the new Pro QDi3 BC. During classes I used several different BCs plus the Pro QD and by far liked the QD over the others...but I still found myself fumbling for the dumps accasionally and fingering the inflator was a trial at times. So I opted to buy the Pro QDi3 with the power inflator/dump lever on the side pouch...amazing. I have used it about a dozen times in pool and open water and find it very user friendly. The lever is very handy and does a great job of inflating or dumping with just a touch up or down. There is a second dump on the right shoulder but the i3 lever will dump from top and bottom ports in any diving position. They are one-way valves so I don't end up with a BC full of water at the end of the dive. I find buoancy control much easier with this BC and at my age easier means alot. So just wanted to pass this info along in case anyone is looking to upgrade (unfortunately they ain't cheap, but what is in scuba). And NO, I am not a dealer or future heir of the company. Good luck and safe diving to all my new friends out there.
